Chamber of Commerce

The Kamer van Koophandel (KvK) the Chamber of Commerce in the Netherlands, is operated as a quango, guided by the Wet op de kamers en fabrieken (Chambers of Commerce and Factories Law) 1997 and the Handelsregisterwet (Trade Registry Law) 2007 and is a member of the European Business Register.

The KVK

The Chamber (Kvk) in its main role of maintaining the Commercial Register officially registers companies and offers support and advice. It also plays an important role in the future development of e-government services. In the near future these services will enable entrepreneurs to do business with the government entirely online
